San Diego Roadmap to Coverage and Care: Planning for Success Under Health Reform
This Report summarizes the work of the San Diego Roadmap to Coverage and Care Task Force, charged with collaborative planning for successful implementation of health reform in the region. This document incorporates input from the San Diegans for Healthcare Coverage (SDHCC) coalition, local constituency leaders and community groups to the draft Task Force report published in March 2011; input addresses both the relative importance and feasibility of key recommendations identified by the Task Force, as well as leaders, participants and strategies essential to their implementation. Regional Navigator (2012)
San Diegans for Healthcare Coverage (SDHCC) proposes to serve as the San Diego Regional Navigator Program under the California Health Benefits Exchange, in partnership with our coalition members and other community based organizations. Consensus Principles and Required Elements for Health Reform (2009)
SDHCC developed detailed principles and required elements for health reform that reflected a community consensus achieved through a series of community meetings and forums. SDHCC shared and presented this document throughout our County, to elected officials and state and federal offices to add to the debate on what should and should not be part of a successful health reform effort.
